In einer Operation wurde Ihre harte Hirnhaut vorne an der Schädelbasis verschlossen.
Außen auf dem Gehirn und dem Rückenmark liegen 3 dünne Hirnhäute. Ganz außen liegt eine harte Haut. Darunter liegen 2 weiche Häute.
Das Gehirn ist von einer schützenden Knochenhülle umgeben. Diese Knochenhülle nennt man Schädel. Den unteren Teil der Schädel-Knochen nennt man Schädelbasis. Auf diesen Knochen liegt das Gehirn von innen auf.
Wenn man in der harten Hirnhaut eine offene Stelle hat, dann kann diese in einer Operation verschlossen werden. Um die offene Stelle zu verschließen, kann künstliches Material oder körpereigenes Gewebe verwendet werden.
