Für eine Untersuchung wurde bei Ihnen ein spezielles Navigations-System verwendet.

Ein solches System dient dazu, sich während einer Untersuchung genau im Körper zu orientieren. Man kann damit auch die genaue Lage spezieller Untersuchungs-Geräte im Körper bestimmen. Dazu wurden mithilfe von Ultraschall Bilder von Ihrem Körper-Inneren gemacht. Bei einer Ultraschall-Untersuchung werden Ultraschallwellen von einem Ultraschallkopf in den Körper gesendet. Je nach Aufbau der Gewebe werden unterschiedlich viele Ultraschallwellen zurückgeworfen. Diese Wellen werden dann in Bilder umgewandelt, die man auf einem Bildschirm sehen kann.
