You have an artificial replacement for your elbow joint.

When a joint is badly worn or injured, it may be painful or less mobile. It is then possible to get an artificial joint replacement. This can involve replacing only certain parts of the joint or the entire joint. The joint replacement is anchored in the bone.

There are 2 bones in the forearm, the ulna and the radius. The ulna is on the side where your little finger is. The radius is on the side where your thumb is. Both bones in the forearm have an upper, middle and lower section. The top ends of ulna and radius, along with the humerus, form the elbow joint.
