M21.75: Unequal limb length (acquired) Pelvic region and thigh
Your legs are of different lengths.
The reason for the different lengths lies in your pelvis or thigh. The length of the legs can change if the bones there become longer or shorter. The position of two bones relative to each other may also change and have an effect on the length of the legs. The altered length can be caused by certain illnesses, injuries or operations.
When someone’s legs are of different lengths it does not necessarily cause any problems. But it may be that the person is then unable to move their legs properly or experiences pain. If one leg is a lot shorter or longer than the other, the person may be unable to walk properly.
